The Story:
First and foremost I am a huge video game fanatic. I fondly remember playing “Super Mario Bros.” on Nintendo with my mom when I was only 3. Even from a young age I knew I was destined to be a part of the gaming world; a world where anything is possible. My interest in this industry is huge So huge in fact, I created a website solely to reflect on the industry. As the game industry has grown over the past 2 decades so has my passion. I've watched the industry evolve from a barrel throwing monkey and a yellow circle eating dots to the world of far off planets in spaceship exploration.
Just as my passion for games was strong, so was my passion for music and sounds. I learned to play the saxophone at an early age and have played it ever since. It wasn't till later that I finally figured out how to combine my two passions and become a sound designer/composer/audio programmer for the world of video games I love so much.
I spent all of my free time playing games, and when I wasn’t playing games I was playing music while thinking about games. The logic was undeniable, if I didn’t pursue video games as a career I would forever regret it. 8 years later I went to Loyola University and studied Music Industry, learning all there is to know about the digital world of audio and electronic music. In the four years there I honed my craft and grew exponetionally musically and created my demo reel.
The Facts:
I recently graduated from Loyola University New Orleans in the field of Music Industry as a Bachelor of Music. I was in charge of running the professional recording studio and oversaw and trained many engineers which helped me learn how to lead a team as well as work in one. My quick assimilation of the courses resulted in my teaching the Introduction to Music Technology courses my final two years on campus.
I am very passionate about this industry and I am excited at the thought of working on upcoming titles.
